Inspired by family & friends, I wanted to write about something fun and memorable...such as a special holiday. Having experienced teaching Kindergarten, I always searched for books specific to themes. Mardi Gras in New Orleans can also be used with older students to review alliteration. Any reader can predict what might be on the next page. I hope audiences of all ages enjoy reading. One may also further research the celebration of Mardi Gras around the world.
